Technician, MACCLab Makerspace


The Makerspace Lab Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the equipment within the MACCLab Makerspace. This is a part time position at 10-15 hours per week.  A cover letter, resume/curriculum vitae, transcripts, and any other relevant documents should be uploaded with the application. Qualified candidates must have the following skills:

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and manuals
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to utilize common hand tools in a safe manner
  • Open to learning and working with new software and equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow safety requirements for equipment

Job Responsibilities

The Lab Technician shall have the following duties and responsibilities: 

  1. Maintain and support the day-to-day operations of the makerspace and its technologies;
  2. Maintain the lab software and hardware, ensuring they are clean, safe and ready for operation; 
  3. Perform equipment maintenance when appropriate and alert the Makerspace Coordinator if the need for a specific service call arises;
  4. Coordinate with computer services when necessary.

The Executive Director will, at the direction of the Board of Directors, carry out
Greenbelt Land Trust of Mid-Missouri’s efforts to conserve the streams, forests,
grasslands, and farmlands that represent our distinctive landscape for present and future
generations. The Executive Director will provide dynamic leadership and community
presence for the organization, in order to deepen our ties with the communities we serve
and identify new opportunities to carry out the mission.

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and
management of the organization, including leading the organization’s land protection and
stewardship efforts, supervising staff, managing and growing the membership program,
identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities, bookkeeping, and organizational
development. Additionally, the Executive Director will lead the organization’s strategic
efforts to deepen and broaden the organization’s impact. The Executive Director will
work closely with the Board of Directors, as well as Board committees, to plan and carry
out the goals of the organization.
