Vidwest Studios Now Open!

Have you heard about the latest shared space here on the Business Loop?

Vidwest Studios is Columbia’s one and only community media center, and they are lowering the barriers and making video and sound production accessible to all. Members have access to photography and video studios, gear and video editing software, and classes to help you tell your story in digital form.

They support this vision by:

1. Organizing storytelling events (e.g. film showcases with locally made content)
2. Educating youth and adults by teaching media skills at workshops and day camps
3. Operating a public access channel with local programming
4. Providing affordable studio space and equipment to all city residents
